The Sin City comic book series was written by legendary writer Frank Miller. Sin City has certainly got itself a gritty reputation as a dark film noir comic book over the years. Originally featuring in 1991 it continued as a comic book series until 1992. More recently Sin City was adapted into a movie directed by both Miller and Rodriguez.
All Sin City stories take place in Basin City which is a fictional town in the America with a definite surreal feel. Thankfully the Basin City Police are up to scratch as they have to continually deal with high crime rates ... however bribery is rife and there are only a few 'honest' cops.
